Simulator Privacy Policy

Simulator Privacy Policy

Effective July 18, 2026 · Applies to the Canyon Lake Mobile Golf Cart Tech Simulator

What we collect

To open the simulator we ask for your email address and your agreement to these policies. If you post a score to the leaderboard, we also collect the display name you choose and your game results (job played, score, date). Your repair history and running profitability are stored only on your own device in your browser's local storage — we do not receive them.

How we use it

Your email is stored as a customer record in our store system (Shopify) and may be used to send occasional updates about the simulator, golf cart tips, and Canyon Lake Mobile news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to the simulator. Leaderboard entries (display name, job, score, date) are visible to other players.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed by our service providers: Shopify (store and email records) and Google (leaderboard scores stored in a spreadsheet under our account). We may disclose information if required by law.

Your rights (including California residents — CCPA)

You may request to know what personal information we hold about you, request its deletion, or opt out of marketing at any time. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and will not be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, contact us through the contact page on this site or ask in store, and we will respond within the time required by law.

Children

The simulator is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided an email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
