The Navitas ITS (Intelligent Throttle Sensor) module is the throttle interface that lets a 1975-Up E-Z-GO 48-volt cart talk to a Navitas TAC2 or TSX 3.0 controller. If you are converting an older EZGO drivetrain to a modern Navitas AC or DC system, this is the throttle pot the kit expects to see — running anything else is the most common reason a Navitas swap throws a fault code on first power-up.
Compatibility
- E-Z-GO 48-volt electric carts, model years 1975 and up
- Pairs with Navitas TAC2 AC controllers and Navitas TSX 3.0 DC controllers
- Drop-in replacement for the original ITS sensor on PDS, DCS, and Series carts running a Navitas kit
Features & specs
- OEM-grade Navitas-branded ITS module
- Direct plug into the Navitas wire harness — no splicing if you are running a Navitas vehicle controller
- Sealed housing — resists dust, water spray, and vibration in golf-course conditions
- Replaces a worn or intermittent throttle that causes hesitation, surge, or "Throttle Fault" codes
Installation notes
Disconnect the main battery pack before touching the throttle harness. The ITS module mounts where the original E-Z-GO throttle potentiometer lives — on PDS carts, that is in the accelerator pedal assembly. Confirm the controller is in programming mode and re-learn the throttle range after the swap, or you will see jerky low-speed creep. Wiring color codes match the Navitas controller documentation; cross-reference the diagram in our EZGO schematics library if you are unsure which pin is which.
