This is the Kandi OEM-specified Navitas TAC2 controller kit for the Kandi Kruiser, part number 10-000891-47 (Navitas reference 25-508). It replaces the factory controller with a 600-amp, fully programmable AC drive controller with Bluetooth, giving you direct control over top speed, acceleration, regenerative braking and battery protection from your phone.

A controller swap is the single highest-impact drivetrain change most Kruiser owners will ever make. It is also the one most commonly done wrong. Everything below is written so you can decide whether this is the right part before you order it.

What Changes When You Fit It

• Current headroom. 600 amps of available current means the cart pulls harder from a stop and holds speed up a grade instead of falling off it. This matters most on lifted carts, larger tires, loaded carts and the kind of sustained climbs you find around Canyon Lake and Temecula's hill neighborhoods.
• Programmability. Forward and reverse speed limits, current limits, acceleration ramp, braking behavior and battery over-discharge protection are all adjustable — by you, on the vehicle, with the Navitas app.
• Bluetooth. Your phone becomes the instrument panel. Monitor performance and pull diagnostic data rather than guessing at a fault.
• Protection. Current limiting and thermal limiting protect both the motor and the controller instead of letting a hot afternoon and a heavy load cook something expensive.
• Build quality. Rugged ABS housing with high ingress resistance and automotive-grade connectors — this is a sealed part living under a cart that gets washed.

Installation Notes — Read Before You Order

1. AGM battery packs need the right firmware. If your Kruiser runs AGM rather than lithium, firmware 22-017 must be loaded through the Navitas software app. Fitting the controller without it is the most common cause of a "new controller behaving strangely" call.
2. Confirm the pack voltage and motor before ordering. A 600A controller is matched to the vehicle it is going into. If you are unsure what is under your seat, send us a photo through the estimate form and we will identify it.
3. Disconnect the pack properly. Main negative off, key off, tow/run switch in tow, and let the capacitors bleed down before touching a terminal. This is a high-current DC system and it does not forgive shortcuts.
4. Torque and seal the connections. Loose high-current lugs are the number one cause of melted terminals and intermittent faults. Weatherproof what you open.
5. Program before you drive it. Set speed and current limits to match your tires, gear ratio and how the cart is actually used — then road test on private ground, not a public path.

Is 600 Amps the Right Choice?

Not always. A 440-amp controller is plenty for a stock-height cart on stock tires doing flat neighborhood driving, and it draws less from the pack. The 600-amp version earns its keep on lifted carts, oversized tires, heavy passenger loads and real grades.
