2018 Club Car Onward Gas Golf Cart

$9,800.00
Only 1 in stock

A clean, well-kept 2018 Club Car Onward with a Kohler gas engine, a suspension lift and 23-inch tires. It is a straightforward cart with no complicated electronics to worry about — fill it, start it, drive it — which is exactly what a lot of buyers around Lake Elsinore and Menifee are looking for after dealing with a tired battery pack on an older electric.

Onward is Club Car's premium line, built on the company's aluminum frame instead of steel. In this climate that is the difference between a cart that still looks right after a decade outdoors and one that is quietly rusting under the body panels. The Kohler engine is a known, serviceable unit with parts that are easy to get and a maintenance routine any shop can handle.

Why a Gas Cart Still Makes Sense

Electric carts get most of the attention right now, and for a lot of buyers they are the right call. Gas still wins in three specific situations. First, if you do not have a good place to plug in — no garage outlet, a shared driveway, street parking. Second, if you run long days: a gas cart refuels in minutes and keeps going, where an electric one is done until it charges. Third, if you tow or haul on a large property, where sustained load is exactly what drains a battery pack fastest.

The trade-offs are real and we will not pretend otherwise: gas is louder, it needs oil changes and periodic tune-ups, and cost per mile is higher. If those matter more to you than refuel time, an electric cart is the better buy and we usually have several. Call (951) 580-9822 and tell us how you would use it.

What a Lift Kit Actually Changes

A lift raises the body and lets you fit larger tires. It buys ground clearance for dirt shoulders, curbs and the uneven ground you find on larger lots outside town. It also raises the center of gravity, so the cart leans a little more in corners and the steps up are higher — something to consider if you regularly carry older passengers. Larger tires additionally change the effective gear ratio, which typically trades a little hill-climbing torque for a slightly higher cruising speed. All of that is normal and none of it is a defect; it is simply a different cart than a stock-height one.

Maintenance We Recommend on a Gas Cart

Gas carts reward a routine. Plan on an annual tune-up: oil and filter, spark plug, air filter, valve adjustment on schedule, plus a look at the drive belt and clutch. Brakes deserve attention on any lifted cart because the taller tires and extra weight ask more of them. We carry the parts for all of it and we do the work at your house.
