The Bolt Energy USA 51V 105Ah square lithium battery is a drop-in power upgrade for golf carts that replaces a full bank of heavy lead-acid batteries with a single sealed LiFePO4 unit. At roughly a third of the weight of a traditional 48V lead-acid pack, it frees up payload, improves range, and eliminates the watering, corrosion, and slow voltage sag that lead-acid owners deal with every season.
LiFePO4 chemistry holds its voltage nearly flat through the discharge cycle, so the cart pulls strong from a full charge down to nearly empty instead of slowing as the pack drains. With a built-in battery management system (BMS) protecting against over-charge, over-discharge, and temperature extremes, this battery is engineered for years of low-maintenance service — most lithium packs of this type outlast three or more sets of lead-acid batteries.
The “square” form factor is sized to fit common battery trays, but lithium conversions vary by cart. If you’re not sure whether this pack fits your make, model, and charger, our team will confirm compatibility before you buy and can handle the full conversion on-site.
Compatibility
- 48V golf cart systems converting to lithium (51V nominal LiFePO4)
- EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and most 48V electric carts — confirm tray dimensions and charger compatibility
- Requires a lithium-profile charger; a lead-acid charger will not correctly charge this pack
- Square case format — verify against your battery tray before ordering
Features & Specs
- Nominal voltage: 51V (LiFePO4) | Capacity: 105Ah
- Chemistry: Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) — safer and longer-cycle than NMC
- Integrated BMS: over-charge, over-discharge, short-circuit and temperature protection
- Dramatic weight savings vs. a 6×8V or 4×12V lead-acid bank
- Flat discharge curve for consistent power and usable range
- Sealed, maintenance-free — no watering, no acid, no terminal corrosion
Installation Notes
This is a battery-only listing. A lithium conversion typically requires a compatible lithium charger and correct cabling, and the BMS wiring must be set up for your cart. Confirm your charger is lithium-rated before installing. Our mobile technicians perform full lithium conversions on-site across Southern California, including charger matching, cabling, and BMS setup.
