Quick answer: E-Z-GO runs factory rebates and promotional financing the same way every car manufacturer does — in windows tied to the model year, not on a fixed monthly schedule. There is almost always something live, but the specific dollar amount, the eligible models, and the fine print change every few months. The pattern is predictable even when the numbers aren't: rebates get bigger on outgoing model-year inventory, financing promotions cluster around the spring and fall selling seasons, and the best combination of price and selection shows up in the six-to-ten week window after a new model year launches and dealers are still clearing the old one. For the exact offers running right now, see our current E-Z-GO rebates and financing post — this page is about how to read any offer you find, this year or next.
The two kinds of deals, and why they're not the same thing
Factory rebates are a straight price cut, funded by E-Z-GO, applied at the point of sale. If a rebate says "$1,500 off," that is $1,500 off the transaction price, full stop. Rebates almost always target specific models and specific model years — usually the model year that's about to roll over, because the fastest way to move remaining inventory is to make it cheaper than the new stock sitting next to it.
Promotional financing (commonly advertised as "0% for 48 months" or similar) is a different mechanism. E-Z-GO's finance arm buys down the interest rate, which costs them money instead of you — but the price of the cart is usually not being discounted at the same time. That's the detail worth sitting with for a second: a 0% financing offer and a $1,500 rebate are often either/or, not both. Read the fine print before you assume you're getting the rebate and the rate.
The two most common eligible-model tables are:
- Rebate-eligible: usually the outgoing model-year stock of specific trims — carts sitting on dealer lots that need to move before or shortly after a new model year arrives.
- Financing-eligible: usually the current model-year lineup, since the manufacturer wants financing incentives pushing new inventory, not clearing old.
Check which bucket a specific cart falls into before you assume an advertised offer applies to it.
What "0% for 48 months" actually costs you
Zero-percent financing is real — the math works exactly the way it sounds, with no interest charged over the loan term. What it does not do is make the cart free of trade-offs. Two things to check before you sign:
Is the price still negotiable? Dealers sometimes hold the cart's price firmer on a 0% deal, because the manufacturer is already absorbing the cost of the promotional rate. Ask directly whether the price is negotiable with 0% financing, or only with cash/standard financing — the answer varies by dealer and by offer.
What's the term, and what's the payment? A 48-month 0% loan on an $12,000 cart is $250/month before tax, fees, or any add-ons. Run the number yourself before you're standing in a dealership doing it in your head.
Working with an authorized dealer
Rebates and financing promotions are administered by E-Z-GO through its authorized dealer network — an unauthorized reseller or private-party seller generally cannot process a factory rebate or the manufacturer's financing program on your behalf, because those require dealer-level access to E-Z-GO's systems. If a "deal" looks too good coming from a seller who isn't an authorized dealer, this is usually why: they aren't eligible to pass the rebate through, so either the number is wrong or the cart isn't what's described.

Common mistakes buyers make with rebates and financing
Assuming last month's offer is this month's offer. These promotions run in windows, typically 4-8 weeks, and the eligible model list changes between windows. Always confirm current terms before you plan a purchase around a specific number.
Not asking what happens if the offer expires mid-order. If you're financing a build or waiting on a specific configuration, ask your dealer in writing whether the current promotion locks in at order time or at delivery — this varies, and it matters if a build takes several weeks.
Skipping the total cost comparison. Compare the out-the-door price under the rebate against the out-the-door price under promotional financing, not just the headline numbers against each other. The lower monthly payment isn't always the better deal once you account for what you gave up on price.
Forgetting insurance and street-legal requirements change the math. If you're financing a cart you intend to make street-legal, confirm insurance costs and DMV requirements before you commit to a monthly payment — those are separate from the cart loan and add to your real monthly cost.
Frequently asked questions
Are E-Z-GO rebates the same every year? No. The dollar amounts, eligible models, and expiration dates change with each promotional cycle, generally every few months. There is almost always some offer running, but never assume this year's number matches last year's or next year's.
Can I combine a factory rebate with a financing promotion? Sometimes, but not always — check the specific offer's terms. Many promotional financing programs are structured as an alternative to a rebate rather than a stack.
Do I have to buy from an authorized dealer to get the rebate? In practice, yes. Rebates and E-Z-GO-administered financing are processed through the authorized dealer network. A private-party sale or an unauthorized reseller typically cannot apply a live factory rebate.
When is the best time of year to buy? The weeks after a new model year launches, while dealers are still working through the outgoing model year's inventory, tend to have the widest combination of rebate availability and selection. Watch for "past models" or "clearance" language on the manufacturer's own promotions page — that's usually where the largest rebates live.
Where can I see today's actual offer amounts? See our current E-Z-GO rebates and financing post for the live, dated numbers. This guide explains the mechanics; that post has today's specifics.
