The Club Car That Wouldn't Budge: A Battery Mystery in Canyon Lake

Gary bought a 2000 Club Car DS and put in batteries. Then he turned the key and... nothing. The cart would not move.

So Jayden headed out to Canyon Lake to play detective.

Once he opened the battery compartment, the clues added up fast. The 8-volt pack had one 6-volt battery mixed in. Two of the batteries were dead. And one terminal had been blown clean off its post.

Jayden swapped the two bad batteries for T-875 8-volt batteries and replaced the terminal ends. Then came the moment of truth: the cart ran.

The happy ending: Gary's DS is back on the move. The lesson is simple. Every battery in a pack should match, and if your cart acts up after a battery swap, a mixed or weak battery is worth checking.
