Cowboy or Innovator? Here Is the Honest Answer

These two Kandi UTVs get compared constantly, and most comparisons online are noise. On paper they are the same vehicle: identical dual AC motors, identical 10,000 W rating, identical 75V 150Ah LiFePO4 battery, identical 40 MPH top speed, identical up-to-50-mile range, identical 112.6-inch body, identical 2,500 lb tow rating, identical 441 lb electric dump bed, identical 3,500 lb winch, identical disc brakes and double A-arm suspension, and the same 12-month vehicle / 36-month battery warranty.

The published differences come down to bodywork, trim and one piece of storage: the Innovator e10K adds front "frunk" storage, and the two have different front-end styling and colorways. Choose on how it looks, what colors are available the week you order, and whether you want the extra front compartment. Do not choose on performance — there is no performance difference to choose between.

What It Is Actually Good At

• Property work. 441 lbs in the bed, 2,500 lbs on the hitch, and a one-touch electric lift so unloading gravel or feed is a button press instead of a shovel and a sore back.
• Quiet operation. Electric drive means you can work early, work near livestock, and work near neighbors without the complaints a gas side-by-side generates.
• Low maintenance. No oil, no filters, no fuel system, no carburetor season. Brakes, tires, suspension and battery care are the maintenance list.
• Terrain. Standard AWD with 9.8 inches of clearance and AT26 tires front and rear handles the decomposed granite, dry wash and grade that Southern California properties are actually made of.
• Recovery. A 3,500 lb winch is standard, not an upsell.

Off-road use only — read this before you buy

The e10K is sold and titled as an off-road utility vehicle. It is not a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) and it is not street legal in California. It is at home on private property, ranch and grove roads, large lots, event grounds and trails — not on public streets, and not on the Canyon Lake cart paths that are set up for LSV-class and golf-cart-class vehicles. Charging at Home

The Cowboy charges through a J1772 port. On a standard 120V household outlet, expect 8+ hours — plug in at the end of the day and it is ready in the morning. On 220V the manufacturer rates it at roughly 4 hours. Most owners never need anything beyond the outlet already in the garage. If you want a dedicated circuit or a 220V drop, we can tell you what your vehicle needs before you call an electrician.

Delivery and Transport

We deliver locally throughout southwest Riverside County and arrange transport in and out of state. Transport is quoted separately based on distance — we will confirm it with you by phone or email before anything ships. Nothing leaves here without a pre-delivery inspection.
