Liberty LSV

Street-legal Low-Speed Vehicle trim. DOT-compliant headlights, turn signals, brake lights, mirrors, seatbelts, VIN, and DMV registration. Legal on California roads with posted limits 35 mph or below.

Liberty Battery Options

The Liberty is offered in three battery configurations:

  • Lead-acid (entry): Lower upfront price, ~20-25 mile range, 4-6 year battery service life. Acceptable for buyers replacing batteries every few years.
  • Samsung SDI 48V Lithium: ~30 mile range, 8-year warranty, lighter weight (better range and acceleration), zero watering or equalization maintenance. The most-purchased configuration.
  • Samsung SDI 72V Lithium ELiTE: ~37+ mile range, peak acceleration, 8-year warranty, premium trim package. The flagship Liberty configuration - the right choice if you want every option, or if you're configuring for LSV use where 25 mph top speed matters.

Street-Legal LSV Configuration

The Liberty has a factory-engineered LSV trim that includes everything required for California Low-Speed Vehicle registration: DOT-compliant headlights, turn signals, brake lights, mirrors, three-point seatbelts, VIN, and our handling of the DMV paperwork. Once registered, your Liberty LSV is street-legal on any road posted 35 mph or below - which covers most residential and resort streets in our service area.

What's the difference between the current Liberty and the 2027 Liberty?

The 2027 Liberty (arriving summer 2026) is a major refresh: 10-inch IntelliScreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, completely redesigned interior, new exterior styling, and updated suspension geometry. The current Liberty remains an excellent cart and is available now, today - the 2027 is a reservation. We sell both. Call us if you'd like to compare side-by-side.

How many people does the Liberty actually seat comfortably?

Four full-size adults. Not 'four if two are kids' - four real adults. The forward-facing rear bench has the same dimensions as the front bench, with full headroom and legroom. This is what differentiates the Liberty from a TXT or Express with a flip seat - the Liberty was designed from the chassis up to seat four forward-facing.

What's the realistic range on a Liberty ELiTE Lithium?

Real-world: 35-40 miles per charge under typical Southern California use - moderate hills, two passengers, mixed cruising and stop-and-go. Brochure spec is ~37 miles; we've seen owners log 40+ on flat routes. Hilly Canyon Lake or Coachella Valley routes will pull that down 10-15%.

Can the Liberty climb the hills in Canyon Lake / Menifee / La Quinta?

Yes, comfortably. The 5 kW AC drive with regenerative braking handles Canyon Lake's grades and the rolling terrain in Menifee and the Coachella Valley without lugging. The 72V ELiTE configuration is noticeably stronger uphill if hill-climbing is a daily concern.

Do you deliver and set up the Liberty?

Yes. We deliver across Riverside County, the Coachella Valley, and North San Diego County. Pre-delivery inspection is performed at our Canyon Lake hub before delivery, and we walk you through every feature on-site. LSV registration, if applicable, is handled by us before delivery.
